Warehouse Freight Handler $17-19/hr

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking warehouse employees that would be responsible for transferring packages and products using motorized equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts. Position entails moving items from trailers, containers and railcars to docks and warehouse storage. Openings on 1st and 2nd shifts available.

Duties

• Operate forklifts, clamp trucks, pallet jacks, and order pickers to move freight throughout the warehouse in a safe manner.
• Read and comprehend packaging labels and UPC codes.
• Use hand scanners for product designations.
• Secure loads by shrink wrapping or taping to ensure stability.
• Perform heavy lifting as required, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and productivity.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a warehouse setting is preferred but not mandatory.
• Ability to lift 50-70 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Ability to work weekends and overtime.
