Maintenance Technician $20-26/hr

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join a team in Grand Rapids, MI. As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facility by performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting issues, and executing repairs. Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on equipment and systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.
• Assist in the setup and teardown of equipment for events and operations.
• Collaborate with team members to improve facility operations and safety.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or degree preferred.
• Proven experience as a maintenance technician or similar role.
• Experience in high pressure die casting is preferred.
• Experience working with CNC machines is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
