Furniture Assembly and Delivery - Traverse City $23/hr

TC office furniture company is looking for reliable, hands-on individuals to join our team as Part-Time Furniture Installers & Delivery Associates. This role combines warehouse work, delivery, and on-site setup—perfect for someone who enjoys working with their hands and being on the move.

You’ll play a key role in assembling and installing office furniture at customer locations, including both commercial offices and home office spaces.

What You’ll Do

• Assemble office furniture using hand tools and instructions
• Deliver and install furniture at customer sites
• Read and interpret build instructions, layouts, and drawings
• Load/unload and transport furniture (including 16’ box trucks)
• Communicate professionally with customers during deliveries and setups
• Assist with cleaning and refurbishing used office furniture as needed

What We’re Looking For

• Mechanical aptitude and experience using hand tools
• Ability to read and follow assembly instructions and layouts
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented

Additional Requirements

• Ability to lift and move furniture regularly
• Valid driver’s license required
• Willingness (or ability) to obtain a chauffeur’s license
• Comfortable driving a 16’ box truck (or willing to learn)
